Q Which Cornucopia product should I feed?
A  Please refer to Product & Usage Information
Q How much Cornucopia should I feed?
A Cornucopia users have found one of two options works well:
  • (A) One cup, approximately four ounces, of product daily per 22 lbs. of mature body weight;
  • (B) Twice the amount of the previously fed product. Puppies generally require more food during periods of rapid growth.
Q How do I switch to Cornucopia?
A The three most common methods are:
  • (1) Mix Cornucopia with the previously fed product, gradually increasing the Cornucopia over a 3 to 5 day period;
  • (2) Mix a small portion of canned Cornucopia with hot water and pour over dry products, making a stew that the animals will accept very readily;
  • (3) Prior to introducing Cornucopia, begin a 24 hour fast with plenty of fresh water available to the animal.
Q What if my animal gets diarrhea during the switch to Cornucopia?

A It is common for diarrhea to occur when switching to a new food. If it persists for more than a few days, consider reducing the quantity being fed. Keep in mind the fact that a healthy dog's normal stool should be of a soft but formed consistency.

A digestive enzyme added to each meal is always beneficial and can be purchased from any Natural Food store.

Q Should I supplement Cornucopia?
A Do not supplement for 30 days. Many Cornucopia users find that no supplementation is necessary. You may mix fresh raw food if you wish. There are suggestions on the package.
